UV DTF STICKERS

What is UV DTF Stickers?

While DTF transfers and UV DTF Stickers share similar names, they are, in fact, different. UV DTF is a special printer that prints on a special film with special ink that cure with UV light, then a laminate is laid over top to secure those prints. UV DTF uses the same CYMK and white ink so these transfers can be placed on light and dark blanks alike. Unlike regular DTF prints, UV DTF is specifically made for hard surfaces where regular DTF is made for fabrics.

What type of blanks can UV DTF be transferred to?

Like previously stated, these are made for hard surfaces and not fabric, the options are vast here. UV DTF can be applied to glass, metal, ceramic, paper and plastic.

What makes UV DTF stickers special from regular stickers?

One thing I love about UV DTF is they can be placed on any hard surface; you don’t need any special coating for them to adhere. Once they are adhered to the surface of choice, they are permanent, waterproof and UV resistant.

One of the biggest differences is the application process. This isn’t just a peel and stick process, UV DTF transfers must be applied with a small squeegee the whatever blank surface you are working work and then the transfer film is peeled off, leaving you seamless and permanent designs.

What products do we use UV DTF for?

If you’re looking for something custom and unique or for branding purposes UV DTF is the way to go. Bookmarks, coasters, journals/notebooks, glassware, mugs, pens, tumblers, lunchboxes, you name it!

I make my bookmarks using sublimation but where the back is blank, I use UV DTF stickers with my logo to brand the bookmark. Or take mugs, I mainly use sublimation to make basic 11 -15 oz mugs and use UV DTF stickers to brand the bottom of the mug. If I am wanting a more unique styled mug like the carabiner mug in the header picture, I would use UV DTF stickers as these have no special coating and are black, which cannot be used for sublimation.
